Dining Is A Personal Experience, Too
Most of our meals are served in the dining room. However, on occasion and weather permitting, we do take advantage of our lovely patio and dine outdoors.

Mealtimes are important events in the typical Autumn Years day. For our residents, it is a chance to enjoy tasty foods and satisfy their appetite.
These gatherings also provide opportunities to converse and mingle with friends and family. And for those who struggle with communication, they still benefit from being amid the chatter and camaraderie. The meals also provide consistent segments in the daily routine. This helps many of our residents stay within their comfort zone.
Mealtimes are very active for our staff members. Of course, there is the preparation, the serving and the clean up. However, there is a lot more going on while our residents are pleasing their palates, often with foods and recipes that reflect the era they grew up in.
By being so diligent during mealtimes, we feel we make the dining process more productive, more rewarding, more social and more enjoyable.

Some of our residents find it difficult to sit and eat. They would rather be on the move. No problem. We accommodate them by preparing food they can eat while on their feet. Sandwiches, fruits, cut vegetables. At the same time, we still monitor what they eat to make sure they are receiving enough nutrition in their diet.

very small at first, so you will have to 'zoom' in.
