We are happy that you have come to visit our website. We are also very proud to introduce you to our senior care community that is nestled in the beautiful Ojai Valley and specializes in helping individuals who are dealing with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Please take your time to browse through our website. It is chock full of information and our passion to serve seniors and their families. You can learn about all the things we do, all the things our residents do, what makes our staff so special, the experiences of others and even our fee structure. Plus, we offer tips on senior care for family members.
In addition, with certain pictures on this website (such as the ones to the upper and lower right), you can click on the "Play" button to listen to us discuss related topics or view a slide show. This is done with the help of a multimedia program called Flash, which is on many computers. If you do not have this program, a box will pop up and offer to put the program on your computer for free. (For additional help, please see our Help Page.) We hope you will take the time to look and listen.
Our Goal: To help you understand your senior care choices (in-home care, senior housing, retirement home, residential care, assisted living, hospice care and nursing home) and assist in the process of making, what for many, is a very difficult decision. We do this by filling the role of a facilitator and counselor - providing knowledge, experience and expertise.
Viewing and listening to our website starts this process. The next step is for you to come by and visit, meet our staff and ask the specific questions that are on your mind.

Take A Peek At What
Many people are surprised when they come to Autumn Years. For some reason they don't expect our pleasant, light, airy and positive atmosphere.

Our Residents Live Their Lives
When safe (and possible), we travel to the world our residents live in. Our tool board brings Resident Don some familiarity, which leads to comfort.

With The Help Of Our Amazing Staff
We train our staff members on the intricacies of senior and dementia care. They add the personal commitment, along with genuine love and respect for our residents.

What Is Assisted Living?
The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) describes assisted living as ‘a special combination of housing, personalized supportive services and health care designed to meet the needs - both scheduled and unscheduled - of those who need help with activities of daily living.’
